Strategic Plan

In 2010 Norwood launched its latest strategic plan – Towards 2014 … the next generation.

The strategic plan, which was developed through a range of consultative mechanisms involving the Board, Norwood staff and representatives from the Department of Health, aims to ensure our purpose of assisting people on their journey to recovery is accomplished. This will be achieved through the prioritisation of a defined set of objectives and principles which will promote Norwood’s vision.

We identified six priority areas, which over the next five years will result in a strong, dynamic and secure organisation. These strategic goals are influenced by our client-focused culture. This force drives Norwood to be recognised by our funding bodies as the most efficient mental health service, and by our clients and partners as the most effective.

Towards 2014 … was designed to facilitate decision making across the organisation. It is viewed by Norwood as a ‘living document’, and the strategic plan will be updated in line with both the growth and development of our programs and services.
