The Client Reference Group (CRG) is made up of eight current and exited clients of Norwood. The Client Reference Group is the client voice for all of Norwood’s clients. The CRG are a consultative group that meets monthly to discuss and reflect on ways in which to improve service quality and report these to management, staff and the board of governance. The CRG chairperson - Steve Woolley is also the client representative for the board of governance. In 2009-2010, the CRG participated in a number of activities including, but not limited to: - Providing copy for philanthropic trust fund applications
- Reviewing documents to ensure clients could understand the terms used
- Employment recruitment panels
- Reviewing client information kit
- Participated in the formatting of tender applications
- Attending the VICSERV conference
- Participated in the working group for Housing, Forensic and Employment
- Assisting with the organisation of client functions
- Participating in media interviews
- Presenting Norwood's Comments and Feedback system at a conference
- Participated in the accreditation process
How did the Client Reference Group start? The Client Reference Group was first formed in 2000 to provide advice to management about how Norwood could get clients to participate and provide ideas on how to enrich the service. How can I volunteer to the CRG? A CRG volunteer is someone who the CRG call onto help assist them with the following; - Working groups
- Client functions
- Employee interviews
- Fundraising
- Marketing and Communications
- Client newsletter
